Sometimes I head over to foxnews.com to see how they cover big stories. I was looking for the story of the Iraq veteran who suffered a fractured skull after being shot with a teargas canister at the Occupy Oakland demonstation. I couldn’t find anything on it but that’s to be expected. I mean, you can’t have the Occupy movement looking like veterans are supporting it and not long haired hippies, that’s bad for the rich. Oh, also, good job Oakland P.D. for doing what Iraq couldn’t do in two tours, hurting a U.S. soldier. Congrats.
Another article however caught my eye, because I always get a little happier with a more secular nation and amused at the idea that religion (Christian mythology in particular) is “under attack”. This particular quote caught my eye.
The Times Daily newspaper identified the complainant as Jeremy Green. In an email to the newspaper, Green said he was taking a stand for the so-called “separation of church and state in an effort to protect the constitutional rights of the non-religious.
So-called. This is actually in an article. Someone wrote this. I should expect it though huh?
