Crystal clear
I’ve recently taken up running as a way to stay positive, motivated, look good naked, and above all, clear my thoughts. At first, like all things, it was hard; starting overall, breathing, stamina, sore muscles, etc. But now, now I look forward to it. The release that it gives me can’t be given by any other activity. I’ve found that running without headphones in lets me listen to my breathing and overall surroundings, which is great.
I was able to run 25 miles last month starting from then 10th, and now I’m aiming for 40. I’ve lost ten pounds, and brought my resting pulse down 20 beats per second. I guess the point of this post is a reminder to keep at it, and that I really want to go running right now but I’m stuck at work. Also, I recommend reading Born To Run, it’s the book that planted the seed.
